Manual Polishing Machine PLM 600 – 800

This machine is used to polish soiled or rusty saw blades of all kinds, or for the removal of cold welds.However, it is also suitable for treating new blades. We ofter two model sizes of this machine.

For the model PLM 600, the maximum polishing range is 600 mm dia., and for the model PLM 800, the maximum polishing range is 800 mm dia., the smallest polishing range is appr. 80 mm dia. The machine is fitted with a coolant tank and coolant pump.

Brazing Attachment (with welding torch) ML 600

For the brazing on and off carbide teeth on: carbide circular saw blades, cutters and milling cutters in need of repair. The set-up time is very brief much faster than with resistance welding and of higher quality.
 

Handling:

The saw-blade is centered and clamped by means of the magnetic flange. The angles are adjusted by means of the handwheels. The new tooth is brought into position and centered by means of a clamping device and by a turning of the screw. The tooth and the ground bodies are heated with a blowtorch.

The brazing off of the defective teeth:

The defective teeth or rests of teeth are heated with the blowtorch pushed down with a pin, a screw driver or the like.

PLSB 1600

A unique feature is added to this machine to grind chip breaker grooves on segmental, HSS or carbide tipped saws. By rotating the grinding head 90 degrees and changing the grinding wheel with a cutoff wheel, chip breaker grooves are easily cut. A index unit advances the saw from top down.
