Xylexpo Exhibition was held end of May for second time on the new showground in Milan, Italy. Like at the Ligna in Hannover, the BANSO brand was present with its own booth under the new owners name Wintersteiger.

Trade fair for the Wood Industry in Sopron/Hungary

Our agents Messrs. Wood-Mayer, Pecs, have participated again in this trade fair. This time with a special booth only for BANSO band saw blades. The fair showed an increased visitor attendance and Messrs. Wood-Mayer experienced a brisk fair business.

As the last years the Lisderevmash in Kiev showed itself as a bussy place for the woodworking industry. Together with our local agent we presented tools and consumables for the woodworking and furniture industry.

Since April 2007 Mr. Christian Streitlein joined the company. Bevore he worked for six years as marketing manager in a machine tool company in the metall industry.

The Ligna in Hannover, world fair for the woodworking industry turned out very successful this year. Compared with past shows number of interested visitors was higher and many projects could be discussed or started right at the show.

Streitlein GmbH was also present on the show on the Wintersteiger Booth showing the wellknown BANSO products.

A new developed special alloy named High Performance steel has been especially designed for the wood working industry.

Due to an innovative hardening process in high vacuum ovens this alloy steel gets its special properties which makes it a real and economic alternative to all known HS steels.

Streitlein GmbH moved into new premisses in September. This was necessary as the increase in turn over required also larger storage space allowing shorter delivery times for more products. We are looking forward to welcome you in our new office.

Helig Instrument Ltd., a subsidiary of Streitlein GmbH participated this year again at the Lisderevmash in Kiev, Ukraine. The specialised exhibition of machinery and equipment for forestry, woodworking and furniture industry was again a success and showed increasing number of visitors.

Recently did our agent Messrs. Codimap participate in an exhibition in the town Concepcion in Chile. The Expocorma is the most important fair for the woodworking industry in Chile and enjoys a steady increase in visitors and also international recognition.

The 7th Woodex/Lestechprodukzia 2005 was held in Moscow from 25. – 29th October. Our representative “Messrs. Woodworking Instrument Center” did take part again with its own booth. Customers and interested parties came from all over Russia and was able to inspect the quality products sold by them. During the 5 days of exhibition did Woodworking Instrument Center record a high number of visitors and was also able to greet all their dealers at the show.

Our agent Messrs. Navko participated on 4. – 8. October with a large booth in the Lisderevmash 2005 exhibition in Kiev, Ukraine. They showed the band saw blades of Messrs. Banholzer and from Messrs. Präzisa the range of TCT circular saw blades. Despite the large competition in this product segment at the show by many local and foreign companies could Navko record a large sales sucess. Mainly also due to the fact that they can offer with their sister company Helig-Instruments a saw blade grinding- and maintenance service.

This year at the „Ligno-Novum“ exhibition in Sopron Hungary, did our agent Messrs. Wood-Mayer take part. They showed this time not only our band- and circular saw blades next to the sawing machinery and saw maintenance equipment but for the first time a log cabin which can be used as weekend or holiday home.

Our agent Messrs. Medzio Technologine participated this year for the first time with an own stand at the BMT 2005 fair in Vilnius. The products exhibited from the German manufacturers for band- and circular Saw Blades as well as woodworking tools found a good resonance with the customers

LIGNA PLUS exhibition took place in Hannover from 1st to 6th May 2005. Every 2 years is this event which attracts many visitors also from abroad as it is the most important exhibition for the woodworking industry worldwide. BANSO – our manufacturer of wood band saw blades – was also present but this year with a new stand design and the new display boards gave more information's on the various products to the customers.

Winter in Russia – is also in the month of march to be connected with snow – but this did not stop us from visiting our agent “Woodworking Instrument Center”. During the visit did we again confirm that there will be no change in marketing after the sale of Banholzer company to Wintersteiger and that “Woodworking Instrument Center” is still the sole and exclusive agent for BANSO band saw blades for the wood working industry in Russia and that they are also active in the marketing of our other products.
“Woodworking Instrument Center” will participate this year in 14 Exhibitions in Russia either by themselves or through local resellers and will show there our products to the clients in Russia.
Next to the sale of woodworking tools does “Woodworking Instrument Center” also have its own sharpening service with the most modern equipment for sharpening and maintenance of circular- and band saw blades as well as diamond tools for the wood industry.

We recently visited again our agent in Riga, Latvia. He expects many impulses through the membership of his country in the European Community. We also saw several endusers during this trip and could introduce further products from our range.

Our agent in Lithuania Messrs. Medzio Technologine was also part of our program in visiting agents after their country joined the European Community last year. As in Latvia do they expect an increased interest in our quality products as we can combine these with our fast and efficient service which we can provide through our agent.

The company VI-MENS in Minsk, Belarus is since october 2004 a further exclusive agent for Messrs. Streitlein GmbH. The worldwide net of agents has so been enlarged by a further important country and the customers in Belarus can thus be served even better and more direct than before.
VI-MENS is since 10 years a well established trading company in the metal- and woodworking industry. Next to the staff of experts does the company have a saw sharpening service in order to serve the clients quickly and efficiently.

Beginning and middle October 2004 where two important woodworking exhibitions held in Kiev/Ukraine. On both exhibitions did we take part through our agent Navko and our subsidery company Helig. The result of both exhibitions was very good and we have increased through this our market share in the Ukraine for both band- and circular saw blades

The biggest Woodworking fair for the Russian market, the Lesdrevmach in Moskau, has proven also this year it´s leading position with a new visitor record.
Our agent Woodworking Instrument Center also took part and showed all BANDSO products on his very impressive stand. Especially our additional service of supplying set blades to the customers in the last year showed effect and increased our market share, and regarding to the successful fair, we are expecting another growth for 2005.

From the 8th to the 11th september our agent Wood-Mayer participated on the Wood Industry Fair in Sopron, Hungary. With an increasing number of new contacts and also old customers on the fair, Wood-Mayer expands its band- and circular saw blades market share and is looking satisfied forward to 2005.

Celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2004 with our agent Mr. Abdelrazzak Nairabi in Syria, we can proudly look back on ten very successful years regarding business in Syria. Since the signing of the agency contract in 1994 Mr. Nairabi was able to increase our market share in Syria. Today Syria is the most important Arabian market place for us and one of the top 5 worldwide.

Together with his local distributor Mr. Ghassan Alsiek, they made the trademark “BANSO” a household name for all woodworkers in Syria as high quality brand for band saw blades.

With an increasing range of products such as TCT circular saw blades, planer knives etc and other tool shop equipment, Mr. Abdelrazzak Nairabi is steadily widening his business in this growing market.

Agent Wood-Mayer in Pécs/Hungary.

Mr. Csaba Mayer, owner of Wood Mayer, started by selling mobile saw mills to customers in Hungary. After the need to provide his customers with additional products, like band saws and saw shop accessories, he came to Streitlein GmbH.

Since signing the agency contract in 2002, the business steadily increased. As one of the major addresses for woodworking related products in Hungary, Wood-Mayer is known for the supply of quality band saw blades and best service and support.

Next to the band saw blades is Wood-Mayer also offering all other products from our line such as TCT circular saw blades. Wood-Mayer not only sells our products but can also service and sharpen them in their own full equipped saw service shop.
